These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wrds mobile application, the website at playwrds.com, and related services (together, the "Service"), which are provided by Fncore, Inc. ("Fncore", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Wrds is a word puzzle game in which vowels are removed from words and you decode what remains. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.
You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with Fncore and are not barred from doing so under applicable law. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Subject to these Terms, Fncore grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

The Service, including its software, design, graphics, word packs, and "Wrds" name and branding, is owned by Fncore and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in Fncore's trademarks or other brand features.
The Service is distributed through, and may rely on, third-party platforms and services (including the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Google Firebase). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. When you obtain the app through an app store, you also agree to that store's applicable usage rules; the app store is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle information.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fncore and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and post the updated Terms at this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
